Time Does Fly

I was looking at the calendar today and realized I had not blogged in over a month. We have had a lot going on this month on our minds. Since I blogged last some things have changed in our life. We have been walking through a situation with a girl we know and a lot of things have been going on and so it has been a whirlwind month. Also, we have started Foster Parenting Classes - a new adventure we have never been on and it is really good what we are learning. Eric said after last night meeting we learned about "attachments" that being a foster child or parent was a lot like being in the ministry with all the emotions that go with it. Never had thought of ministry like it but it is. People in ministry walk through a lot of emotions and changes that affect them in many ways. You get close to people then they leave or move on or they just walk off without a good bye. A lot of real emotions you deal with everyday being in ministry. But when you know God has called you to what you do you give it to him and let him help you deal with it. Hopefully it won't be as long before I blog again. Happy Fall BTW!
