Happy 31st Anniversary

You have heard the saying girls marry guys a lot like their father -the other day we were eating and Ryan spoke up and said "we just did too much for this person and they didn't appreciate it" to which I replied "your dad would do it again because that is who he is" -"he does for other people and doesn't ever think of how it affects him or puts him out" to which I also said " he is like Pop that always did stuff for people when he was in business years ago and never charged them or did it on credit and they didn't pay but that just who he was -he always wanted to help people and took no thought of himself -he just wanted to help people". So in reference to all this I said "Well you do marry someone that is like your father and I did". I have stood with Eric for over 31 years through hills and valleys in ministry and seen God be so faithful ! Seen him do and do for people with no thought of himself because of the call of God on his life . His love for God and passion for him has never died and it grows continually . I have watched him give himself away to others only to be ridiculed and mocked and talked about behind his back. He is a true servant of God if there ever was one! So in celebrating 31 years of marriage to this servant of God -would I do it all over again ? Yes I would because following God is the best way but one thing to remember it always comes with a price and that is dying to self daily! Happy Anniversary Eric Jones!
