Atmosphere

I was looking around in Pinterest this morning and looking at all the stuff for decorations for fall and Christmas. All the pretty stuff that makes everyone's homes so pretty and festive for the holidays. Then I thought all this stuff sets an atmosphere in a home or church or business when you walk in . Atmosphere is so important -it creates an environment of joy and laughter, of peace and tranquility or whatever the occasion. It also can be set through busyness, hustling, too much on your plate, frustration, overachieving , stress, etc... So with all those thoughts flying around in my head I started thinking what kind of atmosphere do we have for others around us and also what kind of atmosphere do we set in our lives for Jesus everyday? Do we prepare ourselves to worship him and adore him -set our minds on things above and good things, healthy things, encouraging things. We have to create an atmosphere that welcomes Jesus in our lives. The Holy Spirit is a gentlemen and if we don't invite and welcome him in our lives he doesn't push his way in. We have to set a way of life that invites him to have control of our lives. We set the atmosphere in our everyday routine of worship to God. Atmosphere is so important -probably more than we all realize. A good question to ask ourselves is what kind of atmosphere do I set for others around me -what kind of atmosphere is in my home? Do I set an atmosphere that welcomes Jesus into my everyday life? Atmosphere makes memories . Determine today to set a good atmosphere in your life. It does make a difference.
